In line with the institutional goals of our university, the research and other activities of our Center are examined from different perspectives and the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are evaluated below.

Strengths of our Center

  • In general, all employees are committed to the university's institutional mission, vision, goals and objectives.
  • Implementation of institutional strategies in line with the institutional mission, vision, goals and objectives of the university by all staff.
  • Implementation of participatory management approach in academic and administrative structuring.
  • The support of the university administration to increase the quality and quantity of education-training-application-research studies.
  • Our center has experienced staff in the field of distance education.
  • Our center has a long history in the field of distance education.
  • The activities of our center are carried out through a strong system infrastructure.
  • The strong relationship between our Center and other units at the University.
  • Our center has an active communication with distance education centers in other universities to share knowledge and experience.

Weaknesses of our Center

  • Deficiencies in advertising and promotion of student recruitment activities for distance education non-thesis master's programs.
  • Financial resources have not yet reached the level required to carry out all planned activities.
     

Opportunities

  • Increasing importance given to distance education.
  • The willingness of the units of our university to open distance education programs.
  • The statement of "Opening new distance education programs within the scope of undergraduate and graduate degrees" in the Strategic Plan of our university.
  • Within the scope of lifelong learning, individuals prefer distance education method in education and training activities.
     

Threats

  • Possibility of falling behind in competition with other institutions due to deficiencies in advertising and promotion of distance education activities.
  • Failure to ensure that the entire targeted audience benefits from the programs due to problems in the promotion of planned activities.
  • Falling below the desired level in infrastructure development processes due to lack of financial resources.
  • Various deficiencies related to physical infrastructure.
