Transition to Turkcell eduBiz System in Distance Non-Thesis Master's Degree Education

As a result of the protocol signed between Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University and Turkcell company, the transition process to Turkcell eduBiz Learning Management System, which has a user-friendly interface and interactive learning tools that will allow synchronous and asynchronous courses of our Distance Education Non-Thesis Master's programs to be carried out together, has been completed.

Within the scope of Digital Transformation Office Coordination Digital Campus studies; The long-term testing and preparation work carried out by the Distance Education Research and Application Center (COMUZEM) has ended and the eduBiz system has been made ready for education and training for the spring semester. COMUZEM and Turkcell continue to work in collaboration with the aim of making the eduBiz system, which will offer a more efficient, more interactive and user-friendly distance education environment compared to the LMS and live course tools previously used at our university, more suitable for the education technologies of the future.

Before the 2023-2024 Spring Semester, Distance Education Application and Research Center Director Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Özdemir, Deputy Director Lecturer. Kadir Tunçer and Dr. Lecturer Information meetings were held in three different sessions by member Enis Arslan for faculty members who will give online courses using the eduBiz system. In these meetings, Prof. Dr. While Muzaffer Özdemir gave information about the transition process to the eduBiz system, the innovations brought by the system and future improvement processes, Deputy Director Lecturer. See. Kadir Tunçer provided detailed information about the technical use of the eduBiz learning management system. In the meetings attended by Serdinç Kaya, an official at Turkcell, faculty members' questions and opinions were included and future plans were made to improve the system.

After the meeting, Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Özdemir also touched upon the future work of our Distance Education Center and stated that work has begun to develop an active learning system supported by artificial intelligence and interactive learning tools that will contribute to the active teaching and learning process of our university.
