Students of our university's Computer Engineering and Computer and Instructional Technologies departments are developing their own active learning system under the coordination of ÇOMÜ Distance Education Centre. The software team, which they call themselves "Drop Team", will include "artificial intelligence", "augmented reality", "virtual reality" and "internet of things" technologies in the active learning system they will develop. The Active Learning System, which will have both web and mobile interfaces, will offer an innovative alternative to today's university education systems where the effective use of artificial intelligence is inevitable and will be based on the flipped learning approach.

After the software to be developed within Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Distance Education Centre is completed, continuous improvements will be made in the software with pilot applications to be carried out at our university.
